<p>I have to make my decision soon, it is prob going to be between U of Washington and LMU.</p>

<p>i got into LMU, and i live in WA state. I didnt wanna apply there tho cuz i wanna get away and go back home (i'm going to UCLA tho), but i would say that UW is better. Its a lot more prestigious than lmu, but it really depends what u want to study.</p>

<p>It depends on what kind of school you want. Wash U is much more prestigious, that's true, but LMU is more personal because it's smaller. Wash U is more affordable than LMU and has a big sports scene, whereas LMU has good sports but no football. </p>
<p>I like LMU because it's a friendly, personal campus without being too small. It's beautiful, great weather, nice atmosphere and the academics are solid. I'm going into film, so I like the one-on-one attention in the film school and less competition than UCLA and USC. Plus I love Los Angeles, and it's a great opportunity to live in the big city.</p>
<p>Both schools seem to have a good social scene, too. Good luck on your desicion! I advise looking at pictures and guidebooks for both schools and seeing which one makes you feel better.</p>
