As of tonight at 8pm, I will have been off school for two months. Though I'm always eager to finish up, I quickly become even more excited to go back.

Who else is ready to get back to Pitt? What's your favorite early school year tradition or occurance? Like anyone, I like to see all of the people from class that I generally don't see over the summer. That and football - the first tailgate seems so close yet so far!

I'm ready!

I have a really intersting internship that I'm enjoying, but I miss late night visits to the O, throwing the frisbee around in Schenley Park and outside the Cathedral, exploring new parts of the city, going to the museum for FREE (I'm in New York for the summer, and when we went to the Met the other day I just instinctively handed the lady at the front my Pitt ID), checking out the goings-on in Shadyside or Downtown, pigging out in Market Central, pick-up basketball games at Trees, and going to PNC Park.

Wow - that's incredibly ironic. I'm in NY for the summer too and went to the Met on Saturday.

Hahaha, that's the same day I went!

I am kinda ready to go back. I'll be doing couple interesting things this semester, so, can't wait!

Definitely ready to be back into a routine, and most of all to see my friends who aren't here (I stayed in Pittsburgh for the summer). I never went to a football game, so I'd like to do that, and though it's a long way off, I'm really excited for basketball season. I'm also ready to meet some new people and do a bit more exploring around the 'burgh. :D

I can't wait to see our teams this year. Football and basketball both should compete for Big East titles. And we have some good wrestlers and swimmers, as well.

I completely agree Jimmy. Though I'm concerned I may be setting myself up for disappointment (knock on wood), the football games should hold some meaning this year with the potential for a Big East title.
