<p>According to the Admissions blog the letters went out yesterday; curious if anyone received one yet? And if so, what state are you in?</p>

<p>maybe they were sent out yesterday after the last US Post Office mail went out and effectively didn’t get mailed until today</p>

It should come tomorrow or Saturday.</p>
<p>didI, sometimes it arrives the next day to addresses that are wihin a few hours of where it was sent…</p>
<p>I have a feeling that the letters should come in either tomorrow (Friday) or Saturday, assuming that they did not send the letters out with next day delievery.</p>
<p>I’m so nervous to hear back!
Of course, I don’t exactly want to read a rejection letter…</p>

<p>Also keep in mind that there are so many letters for such a small town that just because it seems like you should get it the next day doesn’t mean you will. Sometimes applicants in the same town will get them on different days just because they sent them in multiple batches. For US applicants, they don’t overnight or send next-day, so it usually takes at least two or three days for those living near NY - it usually took a full week to reach me in Seattle.</p>
<p>I got my letter today (Thursday) but I live about 40 minutes form the campus. Letters for lots of people near New York should be arriving friday i’d guess. Good luck to all!</p>

<p>D got hers today - NYC - Now i just have to figure out how to pay for it…</p>
<p>My son applied EDI in Dec and two of his friends got theirs (one accepted and one rejected) 2 days after they were mailed (NYS). He did not receive his acceptance until the next day (3rd day after mailing) - same town. Needless to say, we had a very tense evening that night. But it all turned out well in the end. :-)</p>

<p>Here on West Coast, we missed delivery today of a FedEx package sent from Oriskany NY on March 24. Did any west coasters hear good news from Colgate today via FedEx? Thanks!</p>

<p>baboozle - don’t give up. My son got an acceptance letter the day AFTER 2 of his friends heard - one was accepted and one rejected.</p>
<p>I heard some good news from Los Angeles!</p>
<p>Funny thing - my grandma who speaks no english and is really traditional and wears saris all the time was the only one home when the Fed Ex package came and she had to open the door and sign it for me!
Haha! </p>
<p>But smbsmom - i can 99.9999% guarantee that that package is your acceptance. My letter is dated March 24th. </p>
