Anyone receive their Cal grants yet?

I'm a little worried that my cal grant wont be dispersed to me before the January 15th deadline. What happens if it doesn't? Do I have to pay my balance out of pocket? Do they refund me my money if I do so?

According to my Award Payment Status, everything but my ACG has been paid in full.

My Award Payment Status says everything but ACG has been paid out,

BUT

i havn’t actually recieved about $5000… my EFT was only $700, instead of $5700.

now im worried about whether i have to ask my parents to pay for apartment…

If you get financial aid you don’t need to worry about the CARS deadlines.

Really? None of my financial aid has paid yet…does anyone know why this is? =/

^ If you don’t have any registration blocks and have enrolled in at least 13 units then your fees will be paid by the deadline by financial aid.

Mine hasn’t paid out yet ether and I have no blocks and I’m enrolled in 15units.

since this is a thread on calgrants, does anyone know if they still give out calgrant B? i got it in community college which was like an extra $1,500 a year that was just extra spending money to use it on whatever i wanted. Anyone know if they still give this out? was supposed to get it for three years, only got it for 2.

Question relating this…my quick statement on BearFacts currently shows:

Minimum Amount Due Now: $0.00
Minimum Due + Full Reg Fee: $0.00
Account Balance: $0.00

but my E-bill still reflects the December bill that says I need to pay $5,469.75.

At this point, do I not pay anything? I have financial aid; in the past I have always paid the bill as soon as it comes out and got refunded later in the semester. I’m wondering if this time, since I delayed for so long, my financial aid was able to apply without me paying first, eliminating the need to give me back the money later.

Are there any late fees involved if I misunderstood and I need to pay something…?

The quick statement is Fairly up to date.

HOWEVER: The E-bill can be up to a month behind. Disregard the $5,469, its been paid. You now owe $0 to the school.

You just need to figure out anything else (personal supplies, books, apartment if you’re not in dorms).
