<p>Just wondering if anyone has got their financial aid package from Mudd yet. D was accepted today at Swarthmore, but with no need based aid. U of Chicago has come through with a pretty nice grant (and some merit aid), so now wondering if Mudd will provide any need based aid.</p>
<p>Well, D’s FA packet came today. Nothing but loans… 
We will still visit, but Swat (also with no aid) is about $6,000 cheaper per year, and U of Chicago comes out about $11,000 cheaper per year. Disappointing, that is a BIG pile of money.</p>
<p>S also got in but the cost was way too high; 20,000 more than Chicago after aid and scholarships.</p>
<p>Did you appeal to Mudd based on the Chicago awards?</p>
