Anyone Receiving Their Decision Yet?

Welll…we know for our daughter that some of the “big” ones are in the mail: Barnard, William & Mary, with Duke on Tuesday via email.

Since D1 is a BC grad, D2 is very anxious to hear. Anyone receiving anything from admissions yet? When D1 was accepted, this was about the time that she got the letter, but that was in 2002 so it has been more than a while.

Let us know, what you know. This is a BIG Eagles family…thanks!

I don't know but I have a feeling it won't be until next week because this is Easter weekend; maybe that threw off their calendar a little. Good luck!

I know their website just says "before april 15" which is pretty ambiguous! I heard that in past years BC has mailed decisions at the very end of March, but I haven't heard anything about this year yet!

Best of luck everyone!

Nope. I read it was late March, or April 15th. Cutting it kind of close to the May 1 deadline...

a friend of mine recieved his acceptance letter last week
Still waiting for my letter too :(

moodge,

Did your friend receive a likely letter or an actual acceptance from BC? I have not heard of anyone receiving acceptance or denial for BC yet.

I'm kind of worried about even receiving a decision, considering that I never got my EA one...they ended up faxing it to me. :/

What does the letter look like? Is it a big one for an acceptance? Or a small one for both acceptances and rejections?

Good luck everyone!

I just got in via email.

Stats:

3.03 W gpa, 2.46 UW
1670/2400

no extra curriculars

Hah! Almost got you guys. My real stats are pretty bad compared to the rest of CC, and I have no chance but my mom forced me to apply here.

3.5? Weighted (3.25, 3.25, 3.75, 4.1)
2040/2400

The early action kids had large envelopes, says my friend. I can't remember what color they are, but they are indeed the big ones.

cxc08 are u sure ur in the right forum?

EA acceptances were large envelopes--white with a BC folder inside. I'm assuming they sent rejections and deferrals in smaller envelopes, but I never asked my friend that got deferred.

I was deferred. Deferalls were printed in teeny tiny envelopes with a toilet paper thin letter folded inside.

Hi everyone, I've been a member for a few weeks but just never posted before, but I was accepted to BC today! (I live close to Boston so that's probably why I got it so soon)

Anyway, my point wasn't to brag or anything but I just wanted to tell some nervous people that I never got that link on Agora. Well, good luck to everyone!

Congrats to you!!! Can you tell me when the letter was postmarked??

The letter was postmarked 25 March 2008 (yesterday).

Was it a big white envelope?

Yes (acceptance has one large folder inside and one smaller folder, at least for the Honors program).

Good luck everyone.

:) yay congrats!! I'll probably get something tomorrow. so nervous!
