Anyone saw cloverfield?? yay or nay?

I saw cloverfield the other day.. i think the movie would've been good if they explain where it came from.. any thoughts??

ps, im a n0o0bIew!

i heard it was good...will watch soon

i wanted to throw up watching it because the whole movie is from a camcorder's point of view. it's okay other than that. the main guy makes some stupid decisions though and i just wanted to whack him in the head.

i really liked it! and i didn't mind the shakiness at all. i heard a few people saying that they felt like throwing up when they were coming out of the theater after the movie finished, but it was fine for me.

It gave me a big headache... at least it was something new!

I loved the camcorder point of view! It didn't make me sick. I thought it was cool to have a whole movie filmed like a homevideo. Something new, something different. I liked the movie in that view because it seemed more realistic...like, if that ever happened, that's what it would really be like. Some guy would probably be videotaping it with his camcorder, running and trying to escape, dark when it's dark, shaky when it's shaky, with only glimpses of the thing. It was like a real portrayal. And the government would definitely have the video.

Pretty cool, I thought.

the way they filmed it is pretty creative... but it made me dizzy

STRONG YAY. LOVED IT. Completely new and fresh, and only the first 10 minutes were dizzy. Afterwards, it was very justified.

@ usna_reject

HAHA YEAH!! Some folks were telling me how it made them sick, the cam was going all over the place, however i think thats kind of cool. I didnt feel sick. My only beef is when they didnt explain the monster fully.. i mean, all we know was that it was HUGE and it came from the sea!

Other than that, the movie was pretty cool.

I thought I was gonna have a seizure. Other then that it was okay.

it was good, but the end was a joke.

I would see it again though

I had a headache and felt mildly queasy afterwards, but overall it was good for a movie of its genre. Not perfect, but worth paying to see.

I thought it was very good. I'm actually glad they didn't go into the whole 'where did it come from', etc. Aside from it making the film less believable (how would people with a camcorder running for their lives find out the whole story?), it keeps the sense of viewer-creativity and doesn't bog the film down with 'They came from underground? That's so stupid".

for what it was trying to accomplish it was good.

At the ending everybody in the theater stayed until the end of the credits, despite the fact that it was obvious that was the end of the movie

Yay :)

Though I feel cheated out of info about the monster.
