Anyone take the Seminole Express to/from school?

So I'll finally be moving into an apartment come this fall, located on W. Call Street. It's walkable, but after a long day of classes, I'm not sure how motivated I'll be to do that. Probably not at all, heh.

So, I figure the bus is a pretty good option. I was just curious if anyone else uses the buses as a means of getting to and from school and, if so, how your experience is. Are they good about dropping you off right in front of your complex? Thanks!

I’ve had friends that did it. Generally the feeling I got from it was that you basically have to make sure you have a lot of time before your class just in case the bus is late or whatever. If you’re going from campus, that’s probably not nearly as big of a deal.

Depending on what complex you’re living in, there may or may not be a stop in front of it. Just between campus and the end of Call Street at Tennessee, there’s I think 3 stops. You can check out the maps on [the Seminole Express website](http://transportation.fsu.edu/Seminole%20Express/Seminole%20Express.html) to see where the stops are.

Generally though, if you’re living on Call, you aren’t but at most about a minute walking from the nearest stop.

Fortunately, there’s a stop nearly in front of my complex. But I definitely plan to be out waiting for the bus anywhere between 8:00 - 8:30. There are a few buses that follow that route down Call, Garnet and Heritage Grove I know for certain, so getting to campus shouldn’t be too much of a hassle. But getting back, it seems like the HG bus is the best.

Hahah but I’m living on West Call this upcoming Fall, at University Village? An luckily there is a stop there, because my first class is in Diffenbaugh. And even when I used to live in Degraff I would take the Seminole Express. Call me Lazy, but sometimes I did NOT feel like taking the trek to Westcott, and it was either take the bus, or be late to class, if I went. All you really gotta do is get that app, and it will tell you exactly what time the bus will get to your stop an approximately how long it will take, its truly a life saver!

I take the Gold Route Seminole express all the time. If you have the Iphone/Android APP Transloc and Select FSU you can actually see the GPS location of each bus as it moves, and click on your stop to see when it will stop there.

I’ll be close to University Village, but not quite (just don’t feel like giving out my place, though I’m sure it wouldn’t be a big deal).

I do have the app and it definitely seems pretty handy. I was just curious how the overall experience is.
