<p>What max speed did you get, free and premium acct? Recent experience preferred. Reason I'm asking is because my download on campus topped at about 300-400 KB/sec, while at home I get up to 1.3 MB/sec. I'm getting suspicious that maybe the ucla network throttles the speed.</p>

<p>it depends. last year i would get like 5 mb/s tops on rapidshare, while getting like 10 mb/s tops on megashares.
i said f*** rapidshare, and now this year im getting like 20+mb/s on megashares in deneve.

<p>I get around 1 MB/sec for premium, not sure about free but it’s probably around the 500-600 KB/sec range. Probably a bit higher for premium but I forget.</p>
