anyone use SAT subject tests to satisfy subject requirements?

hey guys so apparently you can use sat subject tests to validate subject requirements. i read that "Subject omissions may be satisfied with appropriate test scores on SAT Subject Tests, Advanced Placement exams,
and designated International Baccalaureate exams. A list of acceptable tests and scores is available." i'm really thinking of doing this since some of my grades in subjects are ehhh but i scored pretty well on my subject tests :) has anyone done this, and does this still get you into UCs or does it make you look bad? :( thanks!

My sister was in ELD for the first one or two years in high school, so she didn’t have any period to take a foreign language. Her counselor advised her to take sat two subject in a language that she knows to fulfill this requirement, and it worked. She’s going to attend a UC next year.
My sister didn’t have a choice, but if she had, she would take a foreign language. The top UCs probably prefer the actual foreign language course over the test, I guess, not sure though.

lol I used the Lit SAT subject test in place of an english credit (I failed my last english class so I only wound up with 7).

at first i was even rejected because the college failed to count it.

Leafycream, if you passed your class, i think that goes into your gpa no matter what. the only point of using a subject test to satisfy a requirement instead of a class you had took would be if in return that class wouldn’t be factored into your gpa, right? but i don’t think you can do that.

ohhh okay thanks a lot guys (:
if i had known earlier i wouldn’t have even attempted some classes -_- sighh ok.
