Anyone visiting Cornell this week?

I'm visiting Cornell tomorrow and I'm super psyched! Aside from going to an info. session and going on a tour, my friend who goes there is bringing me to her Freshman Writing Seminar, which sounds pretty cool.

Anyone know what the snow situation is like there right now? (in terms of getting around campus)

Today it's pretty warm. Getting around should be easy.
BTW, why are you visiting today? There were a ton of pre-frosh on campus today! I assumed there was some sort of Class of 2011 event going on and checked the website to find out, but couldn't come up with anything.

Yeah, I saw like 6 tour groups all at once. O.O.

in late march, what do yall think the weather will be like?

metro ny kids have off for President's week. This is a good time for HS juniors to check out college campuses. You'll probably see alot of HS kids at Cornell throughout the week.

Sigh..wish I was visiting this week. My friend went and I'm jealous. I may visit in spring/summer but for my little brother who's really only going to be a freshman in high school XD. But I have no chance at Cornell, though seeing it would be still cool ^_^.

When I visited on Tuesday (which was amazing btw), the weather was really nice, well in terms of Ithaca weather. It was in the 40s, which believe it or not is really good for there and considering they had a SNOW DAY the past week. All of the tour guides kept taking their jackets off saying that it was so hot...really funny. They said there were a total of 7 tour groups that monday, and then there were 5 tour groups for the 11am on tuesday 2/20, when I went.

After my visit, I think I might end up applying ED next year!! :)

We were at the ILR school on this past Monday. My son went to two classes, Collective Bargaining and iIntro to Americann labor,we squeeezed in between interviews and spoke briefly with the transfer admissions adcom Ian. We also had lunch in the basement of the Statler Hotel. Then went to to take a look at the ILR college library and then we attended the information session ,long with 3 other students along witheir parents. it was a great presentation lotsa information off the record. After the seesion we hooked up with freshman friend of my son and we toured the whole campus in the car and walked around the academic areas. Then we headd home. My son NOW really wants to appply ED.

Excellent Decision!!!

I am a freshman at Cornell and it has more than matched upto my expectations.

are you going to please post your tour experience?? :) :)
