For the common app I answered the 2nd prompt about failure, and I finished it a few days ago. I like it, but I'm not sure which parts are good and which are bad, or even how good it really is as a whole. And as it stands, my essay is 668 words, so I know I'll have to make at least some small cuts. Let me know if you want to check it out.

I’ll help you out if you still need it

@delianleaguer I don’t want to sound hypercompetitive or anything, but what grade are you in?

@delianleaguer you’ve only ever posted offering to read essays. Normally that screams ■■■■■ or thief. Usually you’re not going to get a response unless you contribute to the forums here in other ways that will assure people you’re legit.

@ka7Scope I’m a senior in high school, so I’ve never offered to read essays on here for obvious reasons. However, it’s been nearly twelve hours and you haven’t gotten any replies. If and only if you feel comfortable giving it to another high schooler, I’ll be happy to give critique in terms of punctuation/sentence structure and general style. I’ve edited books for author friends of mine before they sent them to publishers, so I do have some knowledge But like I said, if the general iffy-ness of giving your college essay to another college applicant makes you uncomfortable, don’t feel obligated to PM me!
