Anyone who has applied to Cornell's ILR, What is the Interview Like?

What can I expect? Is there anything I can do to prepare for it? I wont be doing it until December but I am just curious. Also how many of you have done it over the phone instead of in person? I am a 4 hour drive from campus so I am contemplating whether or not one option was better than the other.

My phone interview didn’t last terribly long, somewhere between 20 and 25 minutes, and I interviewed with Ian Schachner, who is awesome. He asked me about myself, my interests, and how I thought ILR could help me as a student. The best advice I could give for preparing would be to make pretty similar points to your “Why ILR” essay, but try to put some sort of new spin on them. I feel like I was given a GT in spite of my interview (I’m not really a morning person), so it’s an important part of your app but you don’t have to ace it to get in. PM me if you have any more questions.
