i feel hesitant to give mine to people who are applying at the same time as i am.
it's a transfer essay, on the topic "what are your reasons for transferring and what are the objectives you hope to achieve?"</p>
<p>im looking for any student in:
-cornell
-nyu
-boston university
-northeastern
-syracuse
-columbia u
-duke</p>
<p>Why does it matter what school the respondents go to if all you care about is not sharing it with other applicants?</p>
<p>they are the schools I’m applying to- that’s why it matters.
You have to cut me some slack here man.
I’ve read a few posts about having to be v.careful with distributing essays online, which is reasonable.
As an international transfer, I hardly have any resources.
I’m probabably the only one out of 10,000 people at my university in Australia, that’s applying as a transfer.
I want to get some constructive critism from people who I feel comfortable to trust.
Freshmen applicants are a whole different story. They are more likely to be unaware of what transfer students have to write about, and therefore freshmen applicants probably won’t be able to give me constructive criticism.
To be brutally honest, I am quite annoyed at how many people on talkcollegeconfidential just post things without thinking steps ahead, and just for the fun of posting, and to potentially start an argument.</p>
