There’s another thread by @rossm2000 who tested his clemson app ID (XID) into Clemson’s username set at https://studentonboarding.app.clemson.edu/index.php#. If your ID takes you to the activation code, then there’s a good chance that means you were probably accepted. If your ID takes you to the page that says “unable to determine your acceptance status” then you’re either still processing or denied. Hope that helps as there are two outcomes to it.
@DDclass2018 Are we sure that that’s the case with that link?
@jkirsy, I wouldn’t say it is 100% accurate, but I’ve seen 2 outcomes to it. I can’t say what it means for those whose screen shows up as “undetermined…”, but on the other screen it leads to Clemson asking for the activation code in your acceptance letter. Clemson would come under scrutiny if it gave potential students false hopes of having an acceptance letter as is stated in that screen. I figure, they should start sending letters/packages yesterday, today, and tomorrow to be received next week anyways, so their system should have been at least partially updated, if not completely ready for admitted students to start setting up for their Clemson username next week.
Again, I’d say odds are higher. I tried my DD’s XID and she did receive the “activation code on your acceptance letter” page. Her stats were ACT 28, SAT 1270, GPA UW:3.6/ W: 4.13. I told her she’d probably be a regular Clemson admit with those stats and that’s probably what she will get next week. Still waiting for the actual letter, but this could be precursor to what’s to come.

@DDclass2018 Sounds legit to me! Thanks for the info!
@DDclass2018 what is your daughters major?
Following Clemson Admissions Twitter page too.
@Collegedad33, her major is Chem.
@DDclass2018 Thanks. Sounds like a congrats to your D! Obviously the letter will confirm but it looks good for her. My D is waiting on nursing. The waits killing me. Lol.
Good luck to everyone. I know the stress is getting old fast.
Thanks. Similar situation here. Do you know if Clemson mails them next week or will arrive next week? Also sent via email? Nervously awaiting. Thx!!!
No email. The should start arriving to mail boxes the end of next week if they are consistent with prior years.
Am I the only one who thinks it’s a little crazy that they notify via snail mail, and not email?? Does anyone know if they followup with email communications??
@a_masters16 completely agree. Littttttttle bit outdated
yes. They followup with email. My daughter found out by email in January saying congrats on you acceptance because the mail was delayed. This caused a little confusion, but she received the orange envelope later in the week.
Clemson just tweeted that all of the admissions letters have been taken to USPS.
Which means I was denied… nice.
@jkirsy you don’t know that for sure. I know it seems that way but until you get the letter hang in there. I am not even telling my daughter about this much better to find out for sure than to worry all weekend.
@MinnieFan it’s most likely the case. They’re sent the first batch yesterday and are sending the rest today apparently. For them to do that the info has to already be in their system. For the unavailable message, it most likely means denied- or deferred or waitlisted but I’m not sure if Clemson does that?
@jkirsy ; I hope your are wrong, but getting same message here. Are you accepted other places? Where else are you interested? Just curious.
@jkirsy how do you know they are sending a second batch today?
