Anyone worried about their chances for the college, this might help

hey, i'm headed to the college for my freshman year in a couple weeks and i remember spending a lot of time searching this website last year and being kind of intimidated by other people's profiles with 800s on their SATs and everything like that. here's my stats for throughout high school for comparison...

GPA 4.3
SATs V700 M700 W750
SAT2s US history - 700 Lit - 730 Math1 - 710 Math2 - 650
I transfered to a highly competative independant high school my junior year and played varsity cross country, varsity hockey and varsity track and was captain of cross country senior year, i recieved a very respectable student-athlete award junior year, i started a ski club, took 1 AP junior year, and 3 senior year, i kind of stayed under the radar as far as academics go, i listed guitar as my main extra curricular activity and i played at as many school events as i could. My essay was based on a goldfish that I carried during a bike tour in Canada. I had perfect grades at my old school before i transfered and recieved a lot of academic honors which may have helped.
I also had a US history teacher that i was pretty close to write my recomendation, I wrote my research paper on the same topic she wrote her thesis on, we agree on most things politically, and she's the biggest hockey fan at the school, so i had a lot going for me there.
My interview kicked ass. It was a little awkward because he wrote down everything i said which left a lot of long pauses, but we talked about the D.C. political scene, NCAA bball, and the Exorcist which are the cornerstones of a gtown interview.
I don't know if any of that helps at all, I feel i got in more on well-roundedness than on any specific strengths. I'm also Catholic, but not very involved in the church, but I don't think Georgetown gives too much preference. I applied RD, and didn't list it as my first choice. I just tried to be honest about myself on the application which i feel is the best way to go.

if you want more comparison, I got into Tufts, Uchicago, NYU, and UVM honors college. I was waitlisted at Penn, Harvard, Brown, and Notre Dame, only persued Harvard where I was ultimately rejected, and I was straightup rejected from Dartmouth.

Have faith in the process, caus i think gtown is the perfect fit for me.
Good Luck! Hoya Saxa! and if you get in definitely go!
