Anyone's TAG get approved yet? Oct 15 is earliest date right??

I’m in too. The great news for me is, they decided I only had 56.33 (don’t know where the .33 comes from…) UC-transferrable semester units.

This is great for me. I have 27 units from an out-of-state four year with a 2.0 GPA. Obviously this has been holding down my GPA–I have a 3.95 among 51 CCC units.

UC Davis’s TAG contract indicates that I currently have a 3.94 GPA, meaning they counted all of my CCC units, and only 5.33 of my out-of-state units.

This is great news–if UCLA and Berkeley use the same methodology to determine transferability, I should be in excellent shape to be accepted there as well.

UC Davis tag approved woooooooooo
This is my first choice as well :D

I’ve been approved for Davis also  congrats to everyone!

Yea!!! Got in too. Congrats everyone!

In for Davis!!!

YESS! My TAG got approved for UCDavis! I’m sooo happy<3 But I’m kinda scared of the provisional contract though…Lol! But anyways, yay! I love you UCDavis :DD

In for Davis too! :)

congrats everyone!

(does any one know the answer to my question above?? xD)

Ok so I got a question

I got approved but I also got this

CHEM 1A

does this mean If I complete these reqs I get in to my major…for sure?

@mytime09, you should call UC Davis and talk to their admissions department.
I’m sure their staff is the best way to get that info :]

@Bea5T9, I’m pretty sure that’s what it means. Make sure you earn those grades and you will be guaranteed.

I have a question!! I got my Davis tag approved but if there’s any change in my planned spring courses will my tag be automatically canceled? It’s not a major req and I already completed my igetc :frowning: please help me!

TAG approved for Davis!!! I’m missing a class though, which is offered in my CCC. They didn’t mention anything about it in my tag.

UC Davis TAG Requirements:

Meet UC eligibility and campus requirements by the end of spring 2011 term and remain in good standing.

Units:
You completed 38.00 semester/57.00 quarter transferable units when your UC Davis TAG was signed.

You must complete an additional 22.00 semester/33.00 quarter units to complete the remainder of your required minimum 60 semester/90 quarter transferable units for junior status by the end of the spring 2011 term.

Grades/Courses:
You had a UC-transferable GPA of 3.60 when your UC Davis TAG was signed. You must maintain a GPA of 2.90 or higher for all UC-transferable units taken prior to transfer enrollment.

All courses in progress/planned, in addition to the required courses noted below, must be completed with grades of “C” or higher, unless otherwise specified, by the end of your spring 2011 term.

English Composition Course(s) Required(UC-E):

You have completed the English Composition admission requirement.

Math Course Required(UC-M):

You have completed the math admission requirement.

@berkeleyphil: OMG that was the one thing I was worried about too -__- I’m waiting for one of the Davis representatives to reply back to my message.

w0000t!!!

It was funny reading the “You’ve already completed the requirement” thing over and over though. XD

@mimilove: How do you contact a rep. from Davis? :frowning: Could you please tell me how? haha

Can someone clarify the statement or tell me how I am supposed to certify that I acknowledged the terms of the contract?

“At the end of this document you must certify that you have read and agree to the fulfill UC Davis TAG contract.”

@berkeleyphil: Don’t worry. I asked her and she said that as long it’s not a required course, then it’s fine.

@mimilove: if you don’t mind me asking, was the davis’ rep name Bevc? Was she nice and willing to listen to all your questions, or was she grouchy and hesitant?

Also, is it okay if all my spring courses are taken at a different CCC than the one where my TAG was signed? (I’ve completed the IGETC and required English &Math courses already.)

@ oliver twist, youre fine I take classes at like 4-5 different CCC’s.

I got rejected by Davis for TAG with 3.98 GPA. I was expecting it, because I had many units taken in a 4-yr institution in a foreign country, and my ccc units alone would be even slightly over 100 semester units by spring, so my combined units is definitely over 80. They did not say specifically why I was rejected, but I assume that’s the major reason. I really hope I still have a chance during the regular application period. No matter what, it is not so encouraging to be rejected…

Congrats to everybody who got in!!
