Has anyone gone to the AOP for entering fall freshman yet? How easy is it to work with counsellors and such? I'd like to double major and I'm hoping for a lot of overrides for required classes through AP credits and the Honors College, but I'm afraid I might encounter resistance as I did in high school. Thank you =]

AOP counselors are generally super friendly and can be helpful (most of the time). It is especially nice to be in the HC because you get overrides a lot easier. They accept AP credits as directed on the website, it just depends on what the credit converts as. Most AP classes will allow you to get out of the already flexible general ed requirements (due to your HC status). If they aren’t able to do everything at AOP, don’t worry, you can get it done at fall welcome or during the semester (especially the double major stuff).
