hey i just finished my AOP and was wondering what type of schedules other people might have? number of credits? etc. just curious

haven't gone to AOP yet. but the classes I'll have most likely will be
MC 111 4 credits
MC 201 4 credits
SPN 250 6 credits
something else 3 credits

Fall:
MTH 132 (Might change to 133 because of AP credit, I haven't decided yet)
ISS 310
EGR 160
EGR 100
KIN 106C
MUS 114

It's only 13 credits because marching band is a pain to schedule around :( I have 15 credits from AP tests, so this shouldn't hurt me.

Spring:
CEM 141 and 161
EGR 102
IAH 231C
MTH 133
Total of 15 credits, I'll be taking PHY 183 in the summer.

wow fa-la-la-lena that totals to 17 credits for that semester, thats quite the workload but im sure you can handle it, impressive....are you in the honors college?

yeah ive got something around 13 credits too, so after my 1st semester I'm a sophomore and by the beginning of my 2nd year I'm a junior, but I don't think that matters too much, the economy is so bad right now I'd rather graduate later than early

yeah i live in East Lansing, I think you guys will enjoy it here at MSU, although partying is the main thing to do, there are so many other things to do as well, and basically clubs and groups for every interest, I guess there is even a squirrel watching club haha, East Lansing is an overall diverse city and accepts people of all cultures and ethnicities, It's a great place even though it sucks for me lol being in the same city from elementary school to college = [

edit "later than earlier"

i know, it's a lot right? I am in the honors college but don't plan on taking honors classes the 1st semester. My james madison classes take up a lot of credits for some reason, and i'll be in "intensive intermediate spanish." unless of course, there are no spaces left. I already will have 17 credits starting out...but I want to have 4 classes. Hopefully I can handle it?

Yeah, I understand the whole "stuck in the same town" thing. I was born and raised in Alaska so I simply had to get out asap for college. It especially bothered me that AK is so isolated from the rest of the U.S. There's one medium sized city and that's it. At least in Michigan you can drive around to another state and explore, Chicago, Indianapolis and Detroit aren't too far away and all that fun stuff.

James madisen eh? Does that mean you're in case? I'm not in james madison but i'm in south case 671.

yep, i'm in case. 452 north

How do you guys know what room you're in already?

look at your bill online...it says your room # =]

i'm 310 east akers.

859 N Hubbard!!!

Thanks :) I'm on the first floor of South Hubbard. No waiting for elevators!

East Akers 2nd floor
