AP 0.5 bump

hey guys I was wonderin if the 0.5 bump increase ur givin after takin an AP course is true only if u pass the Ap exam??

is this true or do u get 0.5 bump even if u fail the AP exam??

Should depend on your school..Everyone is guaranteed +10 on final grade here, regardless of performance.

Yea, it depends upon the school. Our school weighs APs on a 5.0 scale with everything else being weighed on the 4.0 scale. We don't have to pass the AP test either.

bump bump bump

hm.. at my school the AP exam is the final for the class because we're required to take the exam so I think a 5 is an A+, 4 is A-, 3 is B, and 2 would be like C or something I haven't heard of anyone getting a 2.. actually I don't know of anyone getting a 3 either.
final exam grades are 1/7th of our final grades, and all AP classes are weighted .67 it doesn't matter what the exam score is

It depends on your school.

My program requires that you do, most of time.

in my school it's weighted just for taking the class...for us...u just need 2 get a 3 or higher to get colllege credit, but not credit for taking the class

for us, u get credit for taking the class if u take the class AND take the AP exam
