Hello. I am an incoming freshmen for cal, because of regent scholar Y ^^ Y. If i have enough credits to enter as a sophomore, can i still spend four years at berkley since i dun want to graduate early? What is the average numbers of years students spend before gradute? And what is the average numbers of courses a typical freshmen would take? Thankksssssss for answering my question.

i don't know about the last two but my bbro took enough AP's to skip his freshman year but he didn't and had the chillest year ever. he ended up doing 3 years in four.

Average freshman should take anywhere from 13-16 units for their first semester.

for the courses i took at a calstate, do they just give me the units or do the grades also show on my transcript? i took calculus III and my friend at berkeley said i could skip to math 54 (linear algebra) and that they would only give me the units so i could skip. can anyone confirm this? thanks.

^ if you are going to take hard math classes (e.g. differential equation), you shouldn't skip linear algebra. it's an important class for engineers.

If you're coming in as a freshman, you're guaranteed/allowed to spend four years at Cal (I asked my major adviser the same thing).
