Has anyone here taken AP Art History? I’m taking it this year as a sophomore, so please tell me your honest opinion of the course and provide any useful tips that can help me succeed in the class. 
Yes.
If you’re interested in art and have an ability to memorize, it’s both interesting and, IMO, easy. If you have no interest in art it can be mind-numbing.

Skieurope has it down. AP Art History was basically a memorization game. For me at least, the class consisted of packets and powerpoints with all the works, and a bunch of busywork (crosswords, word searches, art projects) in between. The class at our school was an easy A, but very few passed the test. A lot of at-home studying could be beneficial for you.
