I'm thinking of taking this class and I was wondering what I should know about this course and be prepared for? I've already read what Collegeboard says about it, but is there anything else I should know?

At my school we had a brand new teacher and most of the class received at least a 4 on the test. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Your general understanding of the subject might suffer if you have an insufficient knowledge of major events in world history, but other than that, the class and test both can be aced easily through flashcard-style memorization. If you want to get a book I'd recommend REA's.

im takign it too and i hear REA is ur only option..

oh ok sounds good
thanks

Look into using the Barron's AP Art History review book.

The author was my teacher this year. I got a 5. It was the best class I've ever taken. He covered EVERYTHING we saw on the test.

If you're truly interested in the subject, I wouldn't worry. You'll be okay!!!
Don't slack off tho. Its a popular mistake people make with this class. It is a REAL AP.

Rpgaction is right about one thing, tho - a lack of world history knowledge can potentially hurt you.

I am taking AP Art History as well but I am confused about choosing REA or BARRONS. ATM im thinking of buying both.

I used Gardner's, REA and Annotated Mona Lisa and made a 5. Ponydance, I'm wondering how you know that the Barron's book is so good when according to Amazon it won't be published until January 08.
