All right. So I have to make the decision of choosing between AP Bio or AP Chem for next year, since I only have one elective left. I need suggestions. I'm good in Bio as well as Chem, so that's not a worry. What should I do?

You can pick the one that would be closest to your intended major, the one that’s interesting to you, or flip a coin.

I want to major in Law and minor in Clinical Psychology o:

I took both, and AP Bio a year before AP Chem. I always regretted it cause some stuff I learned in bio…i was like *** is this…and the next year when i was doing chem, i thought back on bio and i’m like ohhhhhh i get it now! cause there are some pH, equilibrium, chemical structure, etc. that you learn in bio which wouldve been SO MUCH HELPFUL if i had taken chem first to understand these concepts.

It appears that the OP has already taken a chemistry class. The chemistry knowledge required for AP Biology is pretty basic.

if you wanna major in law and clinical psychology then bio is more relevant

BIO. I’m in both right now, and though both of my teachers are awesome and extremely competent, AP Biology is relatively less stressful.
I’m not scientifically-minded at all, so Chem is a bit of a gpa-killer for me.
Keep in mind, really, that high school science courses aren’t really that important. Biology requires a lot of reading and “conceptualizing”, while chemistry…
chemistry is very complex.

Thanks to everyone! Im leading towards Bio. I have until next month to decide. (:

Sent from my SCH-R720 using CC

go bio, chemistry is harder x.x
Biology= remebering facts
Chemistry= remembering facts and knowing how to apply it into a formula…

Take chemistry. If I could do the year again I would have done chemistry instead of AP bio. Plus, AP chem is more accepted by colleges than AP bio(no joke).
