AP bio

For those of you who have taken the AP bio test or are taking the course, could you tell me how specific the exam goes. Like do we need to know the exact structure of nucleic acid, , where each little H and O go, know the ten gizillion-letter names of enzymes or molecules? Thanks

No to all your questions...just know the basic structures and functions of all.

What is the format of the test like (multiple choice, essay, fill in the blank)??

lol I don't think any of the AP tests has a fill in the blank section except for the language ones. If I remember correctly, it was 100 MC questions and 4 free-response essays. I can't tell you much about the MC except that it was easy when I took it two years ago. The FR section was ridiculously easy when I had it and I think you can use the strategy of putting down anything to get credit as long as you don't contradict yourself with two contrasting ideas.

thanks. sorry if I sounded dumb, I've never taken an AP test....

The test only covers the basic information, and snipez90 is correct about the format. Good luck!
