first FRQ destroyed me, nailed the 2nd and 3rd, 50% probably on the fourth. Probably a 5.

asdfadfsdfsfd

um, I don’t think I put any letter twice for that diagram. Maybe I’m not just remembering it correctly - it’s been a long day :/

Wasn’t it like spongy parenchyma, cuticle, and like guard cell?

Seriously guys? You might want to reconsider the content of your posts and edit them while you can.

whoa unc… TMI.

but I didn’t use any letters twice- not that I’m right…

[AP Pass - AP Biology Calculator](AP Biology Test Score Calculator - AP Pass)

Since this calculator uses last year’s curve, approximately how many points should I remove from the total calculation in order to compensate for the curve?

BTW, I answered about 82 questions and left 18 blanks (I think). To be on the safe side, I put like 20 questions missed, even though they were not that difficult to be honest. The FRQ were easy though; well, the first FRQ got me stumped though. lol

Guys be careful. Remember…you aren’t supposed to discuss MC questions.

HelloWhatsUp: Just calculate your score WITHOUT a curve and see where you fall:

( [MC right - (0.25 x MC wrong)] x 0.60 ) + FRQ points

5: 61-100
4: 47-60
3: 39-46
2: 30-38
1: 0-29

This is the safest way, because if according to this you have a 5, then you’ll definitely have a 5 when the curve is added in. If you’re a really high 4, you may end up with a 5 with the curve.

haha the 4th free response question made me regret senior slide since i decided not to read the last 6 chapters of campbell…

^ Should’ve just read the ~10 page ecology unit in the Cliff’s book. :p

I was definitely pleasantly surprised on the multiple choice section. We took a practice test last Wednesday, and I got a 85 on the MC section (I had not yet studied). I felt much more confident on the actual exam, probably because I’d studied my butt off.

The FRQs were also much easier than I expected. I missed the last part of the first one, I’m sure.

Anyway, I psyched myself out and it wasn’t that bad in the end. Just long.

So for FRQ 2 you had to draw a certain something. Well I drawed it and crossed it out drawed it again and crossed it out again and then I drawed it again? It was pretty much the messiest drawing in the world…would they take off for that? Cuz that was pretty much the only point i was sure about in the free response.

If you clearly crossed out the wrong _, it’s fine. I had to re-draw my second _. I crossed it out with scribbles and then put a note, “ignore the scribbled ____” and drew an arrow to it. I’m sure they’ll understand. :p

As long as what you intended for them to grade is clearly visible, you’re fine.

FRQ 2 was alright, although I found myself contradicting myself in the explanation parts.

FRQ 3 was pretty alright, I generally knew the concepts enough to BS what I needed to BS. I didn’t know what they were asking for in the third part of the third FRQ though…

FRQ 4 WAS A FREAKING GIFT FROM HEAVEN!! I went to town on that essay!

FRQ 1 was too specific for me, I couldn’t recall much things and whatever I did recall were really general “facts”…

One question on the MC caught me completely off guard… it was about Cxx-Sqxxxxx (can I still x out most of the letters?)

LOL I know exactly what you’re talking about, regarding that one question. It’s so weird because apparently, it was being discussed here into the depths of the night on the other Bio thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/1064839683-post950.html

It’s from Lab 7. Needless to say, I skipped that question. :p

MC was extremely detailed imo…left 5 blank…prolly minus 20ish

FRQ 1 was easy, FRQ 2 was decent, FRQ 3 was easy…FRQ 4 i had no idea. no ecology knowledge watsover…bsed my way through

I thought the whole test was easy. I’m pretty sure I got at least a 75% on the MC and I got at least 4 points on each essay, and on a couple of them I’m pretty sure I got 7+. At least a 4 which I’ll be happy with, maybe a 5 if I’m cool enough ;d.

MC was relatively easy, guessed on between 10 and 20 and only skipped 1, though that should have been 2 in retrospect.
FRQ 1 was bad since we were never tested on that in class, if we had been I would have aced it. The others were okay, except maybe 4b…

What would I get on FRQ #1 if all I wrote was one name (which I’m pretty sure is correct) and “please give me a 10”?
