AP Biology Semester Final.. help!

Right, so, fairly straightforward. I've been awfully irresponsible and have decided putting off studying for this final! It's on Monday. I need enormous amounts of help... uhm I'm using the Campell Biology textbook in my class... does anyone have any sites they might know which offer study guide for it, summaries, or something similar?

I'd appreciate any help! Thanks!

-Jess!

Is the course hard?

Honestly... it's not 'easy'. It's not too difficult if you keep up with the work, and MY teacher really doesn't even assign that much work.

mmmm I've heard it's one of the most difficult APs to take but really, that varies entirely depending on the student.

Thanks jess.

Any time :)

1) Take the diagnostic test on Sparknotes
2) buy a cliffnotes book
3) Find out what you did wrong and study those sections in Cliffnotes. Seriously--highlight, annotate, and study the crap out of it.
4) Read it over and over again, making sure you are familiar with all of the different cycles, plant hormone functions, random DNA notes, etc.
5) Take the diagnostic test again after you marked it up and find out what you answered wrong.
6) Go over the free response questions in the Cliffnotes practice exam.

You should pretty much devote your whole weekend to it. Stay up late every night to study but not the night before Monday or you'll get really tired during the test... believe me I know. I did this and got a five when I took my practice bio exam, so good luck!

cliffnotes AP biology book.
it's awesome.

For last minute cramming? Campbell Reece is horrible for cramming. I feel like it contains a gigantic amount of information--more than you actually need to know.

Just go over your course notes. Highlight things you don't understand and look them up in the book. I found the CD pretty helpful, so definitely try that. It also has some pretty good (and LONG) practice quizzes in it.

And invest in a good AP prep book--I recommend Cliffnotes. Trust me-I just crammed the Cliffnotes AP Bio book on the Sunday before the exam (and I didn't even get through the whole book, haha) and ended up with a 5.
