With a very hectic senior year approaching, I thought I'd try lightening the load a bit by studying some of the AP Biology material over the summer. Do any past AP Bio students have any suggestions for what to study. Put another way, what would YOU have done if you had 8 weeks to learn some of the material before the school year started? I bought the Cliffnotes book and I'm considering studying three chapters a week and supplementing it with videos on youtube. Thoughts?

Truthfully I would invest time in another class - the knowledge required for the test has dropped in favor of critical thinking questions, which you can’t really study

Go to [Survive Bio](http://www.survivebio.com)! It has extremely useful videos like you said, flashcards, chapter outlines, practice quizzes and tests and even an answers section for you to ask questions.

No, no, no. I would disagree with this entirely.
a) The AP exam is pretty irrelevant, unless the OP plans to do something related to biology in the future.
b) The course is still demanding and requires full knowledge of the subject, unlike the exam.

I would suggest you keep your focus on Biology, perhaps review a number of chapters from the textbook.

Well then…I still think the class would be more memorization than concepts. Memory will deteriorate over the summer…the concepts you might understand from studying chem would probably stick with you, at least in part.
