I signed up for AP biology next year. However, some people told me that it is not worth taking it because the major that i want to take is not related to it. (i am planning to major engineering) Do you guys also think that taking AP biology is not that worth?(I also signed up for AP chemistry, AP US government, AP literature, and Multi-variable calculus, so i think it might be a little burden to me to take AP biology with those rigorous classes) Oh, and my SAT score is not that high to go to competitive colleges, so i was going to study during the summer vacation. It is obviously more worth studying SAT instead of Biology, right…? Thank you guys. ^^

This is a vague sentence. Biological engineering? Electrical or computer engineering? Civil engineering?
If you are not planning on majoring in an engineering that uses biology, then it may not be worth burdening yourself more with AP Biology, but that is your call.
Maybe. A really low SAT score can definitely hurt when applying to competitive schools.
I am in ap bio now and it’s SO interesting. I have an A and I am taking 3 other aps. But you already seem to plan on taking a lot of intense aps next year, so it might not be the best idea for your insanity/major aspirations. I would say do not take it and focus on those aps and your SAT studying.
