Hi, I'm a sophomore in high school, and I have already taken physics, and I am currently taking Chemistry. I was wondering if it would be better to take the regular biology course, then take AP Bio, or just take AP Bio. Many Thanks!

Wow, that's a weird way of scheduling. You can jump right into AP Bio without regular Bio?

just take ap bio. regular bio's not worth it, and ap bio starts from the basics anyway.

In AP Bio, the basics were the first unit (first 6 chapters) which my teacher covered in 1 week. I highly recommend you to not take AP Bio without regular Bio first.

Take ap bio, the 1st topic is usually like biochem anyway so that will help u coming from chem and all. I know in my school you can always drop out if it gets too hard so theres no harm in taking in in the beginning.

i just took ap bio without regular bio background.

got a 5

honestly, just take ap bio. regular bio is like taking middle school bio and like camarolover said, thats a really weird way of scheduling. I took regular bio in my freshman year and ap bio in junior year and me taking regular bio didnt help me at all in eleventh grade. AP bio is quite different and it'll save u more time neway. I didnt have any help from regular bio and got a 5 so just go for it.
