AP Calc AB or BC as a junior?

So we’re picking our junior year schedules in the next few weeks, so far I’ve decided to take
AP Lang
AP Chem
Hon French III
Honors US History (pretty sure APUSH would kill me)
Theory of Knowledge / Senior Thesis (completing a thesis is a pretty big deal at our school)
Study Hall
I go to a pretty academically rigorous magnet school; they usually don’t let us drop study hall. I’m just stuck on my math class. I’ve heard that AP Chem and BC Calc are two of the hardest APs at my school… I’m worried if I take BC I won’t be able to keep up with the quick pace of both classes, and I really want to understand all of the content. Taking AB then BC would be a more manageable pace, so I’ll probably get a higher grade, I’ll also have another AP class to boost my gpa, and I might be able to better absorb the content. However, BC might help me pursue a more advanced thesis (my topic is going to be something in physics probably), and it may look better on my college applications because it shows that I really challenged myself, but my junior year schedule is already pretty hectic, so I’m worried I won’t fully understand the calc II concepts covered in BC.
I’m going to be a science/maths major so it’s essential that I’m really comfortable with calculus. If I took BC junior year I would take Honors Multivariable Calculus senior year; if I took AB I would take BC senior year. Either way I’ll end up in calc III in college. So I’ll either be taking calc I twice, or calc III twice.
I really like math… so I just want to make sure I take the best class. I’m currently in Honors Precalculus and AP Stats; I have a high A in both. My precalc teacher said I would succeed in AB or BC. She teaches the AB calc class and she’s a really great teacher; but I’m pretty sure the BC teacher is good too.

Thanks if you read all this! I know it was a lot haha. I just wanted to fully explain everything
p.s a glossary in case you’re not familiar
AP AB Calculus: equivalent of a college Calc I course
AP BC Calculus: Calc I & Calc II
Honors Multivariable: Calc III

Since you know the Calc AB teacher and her pacing, I would stick with AB. If the options are taking calc 1 twice or calc 3 twice it depends- stronger foundation/high school GPA boost/extra practice or college GPA boost/extra practice? Is Calc BC double blocked in your school?

Well sort of… the Calc BC kids are put into a special study hall; sometimes the teacher will take up the study hall to teach more things, but other times it’s still a free period.

Bump… can I get a second thought?

If there’s still a good teacher for calc BC and you have a high A in AP Stats and precalc, then I would asy AP Calc BC
