Should I take Calc AB or BC?

I know this question seems to pop up a lot, but I wanted to know what you thought. My schedule for next year (junior year) is probably going to include AP Chem, IB Lit, IB Spanish SL, IB History and either Calc AB or BC (As well as other classes, but I just listed APs and IBs.) There is apparently a lot of homework in AP Chem. I'm interested in math and have always done well in it in the past, but I don't want to sign my own death warrant. In my school, Calc AB is apparently a joke, but Calc BC is supposed to be extremely difficult. I heard that people regularly get 50s on the tests and that 50s are curved up to 70s. Everyone gets 5s on the AP exam because the class is so difficult, but the class is really difficult. Homework is optional for it, but highly recommended. Do you think I can handle it on my schedule and how do you think my schedule is?

tl;dr: Should I take the really easy AB Calc or the really difficult BC Calc?

But do you think colleges will look down on the fact that I didn’t take the actual BC course, especially if I’m interested in pursuing a math or science major?

I think you should be able to self-study AP Calc BC. If you dnt do well you have another year tho.
