Also, anyone remember the first four calculator MCQ answers, by any chance? I remember putting C D E something and leaving the fourth blank(forgot to fill anything in :/)

@skstanford The funnel question was the frq with the liquid in a cone looking thing with the radius and height, for which you had to calculate volume and find average radius. I think for the last part u had to find dh/dt, and I think I got either -3/2 or -2/3 or somethin like that.

For the frqs,
Whenever CB answers an FRQ for some area or something like that, they usually use some letter variable to represent it like A = or V=… Would we penalized if we used other letters? For instance, I used A, S, and other variables to represent certain things.

Do our FRQs DIFFER? @YoohooAddict I didn’t have anything like that, for sure(international student here)

Oh well…I guess you got a different form @skstanford Also, I think the first four questions, I remember one question was asking about the velocity given a distance and I put 20e^10. I think number 4 was a limit question lim x–> 1 of
(x-2)(x^2 - 1)/ (x^2 -2x + 1) and you had to algebraically cancel out the x^2 - 1 and plug in the value.

Im praying for a 5, but by now I’d be happy with a 4. That was really quite terrible. Oh well onto apush.

Seems like the curve will be generous.

When are FRQs released? Monday? I want to try to figure out how I did…

Can anyone tell me how does the curve work please? Like how many can you miss and how many point to get in frq to make a 3 or a 4 ? Pls explain how its scored the test

What about the separation of variables in the FRQ problem w/ a slope field? Did you guys get c=9 and a cubed root function?

@ZBlue17 I got that question partially right. I got all the way up to finding C, then I used the initial condition but swithced the coordinates (2,3), so I got the rest wrong. but it was something related to -1/(lnx - 1/3 -something else)

Hey what answer did you all get for the volume of the funnel

Also does anyone remember if the inverse question on the multiple choice was -1/2. I always have trouble and get the numbers mixed up.

I think I got it wrong @johncrosby97 but my guess was 191pi/6… Idk lol

I feel you. It was rough. It was the only one I didn’t know how to do on the frq, so maybe I’ll get a few points if I set it up right.

@johncrosby97 What did you get for the dh/dt question after that?

I was just trying to remember. What was the setup like? I spent so much time on the volume one after I finished everything else that I can’t remember any of the other ones haha @YoohooAddict

@johncrosby97
I remember r = 1/20 (3 + h^2)
they gave dr/dt and h (the value for h given was 3. For dr/dt, I think the value given was -1/5 but i could be wrong)
dr/dt = 0 + 2h/20 = h/10 (dh/dt)
-1/5 = 3/10 (dh/dt)
dh/dt = -2/3 inches per sometin

Does any one else get a cubed root for the separation of variables (the one w slope field) frq? I think I got that wrong lmao

There was a question on the no calculator mcq. It was like g(x) = cos1/4x and y =1/2 what’s the area between the two functions over the interval [0, pi]. What did ya’ll put?
