***AP Calculus AB 2015-2016 Thread***

Yeah I’m 99.99% sure that is what I ended up with. The only numbers I can remember from free response was ending up with like 7/9 or something on one problem. I don’t know if that rings a bell for you.

What did you get for the f’’(2x). I cannot remember the problem but I want to see if an answer will make me remember haha. @YoohooAddict

And is the cos problem the one that had some with one integral and some with two integrals? @YoohooAddict

@johncrosby97 Yes that does. That was last frq for integral of f’’(2x and you end up with 5 - (-2) = 5 + 2 = 7
Here’s a couple of frq answers that I remember:
Approximation of f (2.1 i think) was 3.9
At t = 4, the position of particle at x = -3.815
Particle is slowing down since v and a don’t have the same sign.
Total amount of water: i did 50000 - 8050 + integral from 0 to 8 of 2000e^(-t^2/20) which = 49786.295 liters
Left hand rieman sum of water lost for the 8 hours: 8050 liters. Left hand overestimates since function is decreasing.
Estimate v’ (2) I think: it was -120
dh/dt = -2/3 inc per some unit
Does the rate of water flowing in and water exiting ever equal each other? I guesed yes…

That was the integral of f double prime (2x). U end up with f prime(2x) there were bounderies which u plug in in the x and subtract

@johncrosby97 Yes it was a double integral one from 0 to pi/3 and the other from pi/3 to pi. I think I put E for that one.

I had all the same on all of those. And yeah they do equal. I just used IVT as my explanation. Because the water exiting had values between 1300 and 700 and the water entering went from 2000 to 80 something. So they had to cross at some time or another. @YoohooAddict

@YoohooAddict I put like an equation equal to c, i didnt know how to get rid of pi lol

Diffrential equation anyone?

I remember on the cos multiple choice problem I got E or D I believe. My teacher never taught us problems that required mutiple integrals but it made sense since in the beginning the cos is larger and in the end the other graph was higher so I chose the one that had the cos- whatever it was + whatever it was -cos. Which was like E or D. But I am not positive that is right haha @YoohooAddict

@Meteoric Lol

Idk why but I had ln(x-1) in my answer somewhere. :frowning:

Integral of arcsin confused me

But I was looking at the rubric and you are guaranteed 3/6 points on that question if you integrated and stuff but still got C and the function wrong

But I was looking at the rubric and you are guaranteed 3/6 points on that question if you integrated and stuff but still got C and the function wrong!

You know that one MC problem that was like the position at t=0 is 10 and t=1 is 20 and it gave you a(t) and asked u to find v(t). That problem is legit my favourite problem ever nowlol that was so fun to solv

Was sinx/x one of the answers lol to a mc

@harsh98 I picked the other two as true and the ln one was false. I don’t know though, I was half asleep during the test.

I can’t remember what I got for C but I got something along the lines of y= -1/ln(x-1)+? I can’t remember what I got for the other number but something like that.

@skstanford international student here, I think we might have different tests since the pool is so big. Also the problems you get depend on what form u got
