AP Calculus BC

I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could answer all the frqs but I had to rush to finish #6 so I could have used a bit more time. The MC part seemed like a gift so I'm good for a 5.

I have a good teacher and we completed the book about 3 weeks ago and have been doing review since then.

Hah. My school only offers AB, so I took that and started teaching myself BC material in March.

Yeah same here.

Wow are you guys serious? I thought the BC test was pretty hard, especially the FRQs.

The first 3 were pretty easy. I was getting worried because some of the answers seemed way too simple but hopefully they're right. The last 2 were hard for me.

The test almost had a double personality:

1 section easy, then 1 section hard. 1 section easy, then 1 section hard.

I must be weird. I thought the non-calculator MC was easier than the calculator one. Hahaha... interesting.

non calc mc: ok
calc mc: easy
calc fr: pretty good
non calc fr: ok

^

About right.

i had form q

non calc mc : HARD! i skipped 11 questions but mainly because of time. i felt confident about most of the ones i answered.
calc mc: easy! i didn't skip any
calc fr: soooo easy except the part with the depth of the lake..
non calc fr: at first i thought number 5 and 6 were really hard but they ended up alright. i definitely pulled a 9 or two.

so overall i'm somewhat confident about a 5.

does anyone else thing there it was weird that there was NO interval of convergence question?? i was so relieved.
and there wasn't any logistic growth on free response!

i absolutely dominated the mc cept for like one question which stumped me and for the free responce i finished with like 20 minutes left

non cal MC- skipped two
cal MC- no skip

cal FR 1- about 5/9
cal FR 2- 6/9
cal FR 3- 8/9

no cal FR 4- 9/9
no cal FR 5- 5/9
no cal FR 6- 4/9

being very pessimistic here...

anyone think that is a 5?

^^ thats easily a 5....

how many did you have wrong on the mc do you think? I fell into traps and I only skipped two both on the NON CaLC MC section. Now i'm looking at a bunch wrong hoping for a four though.

That is definently a 5. You will need, at worst, 70% to get a 5.

thanks....i was just wondering....but the MC were really easy in my opinion....the two i skipped were the only ones i didnt know how to do...but yeah....out of the 43 that i did....maybe missed 6 MAX....is that still a 5?

Join apcalcbc chat room on AIM.

Calc MC: Skipped 4, Guess 2
Non-Calc MC: Skipped 2, No guess
Calc FRQ: 7-8, 7-8, 0
Non-calc FRQ: 9, 9, 0

Would that pull out to be a five? I thought I would barely get a 4 going into the test, but perhaps I can be slightly optimistic about my chances for a 5?

^^ i think that could still get u a 4

MC was okay. Skipped 1 total.

BOMBED the FR. Totally didn't have time to finish all the questions well, and I don't even know if I got them right.

I asked my classmates and it was 50-50 with difficulty of FR... why are ppl here saying it was easy?

That test was a joke.. finished everything with 15+ minutes to spare on each section. Lots more questions with critical thinking than I expected, but they were extremely easy as well.

Hope everyone gets a 4 or 5 :)

0 studying helps :P
