AP Calculus - can we use 2 calculators at once?

same as title

believe it or not, I really wanted to know the answer to this question, anybody know?

Cause college board says you may have 2 calcs so theyre not alot to bot you for using 2 at once although i am pretty sure since proctors are not vey inteligent would think your cheating or doing something rediculose. But i would really like to know

What would you use 2 calculators for at the same time? And why would you?

Yes, I'm pretty sure you can. On SAT I math and math IIC I used 3 calculators haha. a Ti-30XIIS (quick arithmetic) Ti-84+ ( graphing) Ti-89T (Solver)

Yup you can (only 2 though, the information is on the course description on the CB website)

For SAT I remember that the proctor told us we can only use one calculator at a time.

are you 100% sure about that?
i know it says 2, yes but the question is is that 2 on your desk well taking it or 1 using and one under your desk away how do you interpret CB words. because it might mean its for backup only, you know these proctors could rfeally be a pain, and the guy on top said sat there was 1, and im sure they have the same guidelines, someone confirm or calc CB please, thanks for all the answers!

You can, as long as they are legal (No QWERTY, other rules blah blah blah). I used a TI-83+ and TI-89 Titanium on Calc AB.

haha i'm doing the same thing

TI-89 for differentiating/integrating and TI-84 for everything else

Haha, same here Chronic.

My AP Calc teacher (who's been teaching it for about 30 years) has encouraged us to bring two - while one is busily graphing a problem or solving something intricate, she says we can use the other one if need be.

can someone give me the URL for where it says you can use 2 on CB?

thats not fair to us poor people who only have one....

Students may bring to the exam one or two (but no more than two) graphing calculators from the current List of Graphing Calculators.
