AP Chem or AP Stats?

So next year I’m taking
AP calc, AP eng lit, honors govt/ Econ, physics, lunch, and I have 3 electives. I am trying to decide between AP stats or AP Chem. Last year I took AP bio and it was A TON of work. At my school, the AP Chem teacher is not good and I’m unsure of whether I should take it or not. The AP stats teacher is good however. I’ve heard in stats you get more homework, but it is easier, and in Chem there is significantly less homework (still studying) and it is harder. I want to be a biology major. AP Chem is 2 periods and AP stats is one, if I take Chem I only have 1 elective period but with stats I’d have two (and I won’t take both… 3 APs wil be enough for me senior year). I’m also involved in many extra curriculars and I want to find a weekend job. Thanks for your advice!

Oh! Also I want to have a VERY good GPA next year to be top 10. So which class would be good with that too thank you!

Don’t take AP Chem if you have a bad teacher. At my school the AP Chem teacher was so awful almost everyone got a 2 on the exam. Only 1 person got a 5, not even the girl with the almost perfect SAT. I can’t attest to the difficulty of Chem, but AP stats was pretty easy. I would definitely do stats over chem and statistics is going to be used in your major so it’s not on a total different path.
