I'm starting to study for my AP chem exam. What are the hardest topics of the exam for people in the past? Or atleast what you can tell from practice tests ?

Also do schools accept below a 5 for college credit?

Please ask your question about topics on the AP prep forum:

definitely Acid-base buffers. They screwed everyone over last year.

My teacher said, in his experience, titrations and buffers cause the most problems for his students. This year, I would agree that it was the toughest test for my class.

But it really depends on the student. I got an A on the titration test but I got a B- on the orbital/atomic test, which I found harder.

The gas law questions are a PAIN- but only because you can’t use calculators. They do not make those problems easy to calculate by hand, at least not for me.
