I am seriously going to fail the AP chem test. I never took honors; the only chem I took was for 4 out of 7 weeks this summer at a community college (I had to leave and have the best time at PROMYS). I missed the 1st week of school and failed the first test today. Does anybody know of some really good website or book that could help me get a 4 or 5 or at least help me catch up now? Thanks!

get princeton review....NOW. study the chapter and do the end problems for the particular topic you're studying in chem.

other than that, work hard to catch up. study your text well.

i think u can find the past 20 years chemical reactions problems on the internet, just google it. simply memorize all the reaction problems and it will help u to ace the chemical reaction problems(problems are repeated), which are worth about 30 out of 150 points. remember u only need to get about 90 points to get a five

Thanks everyone. Princeton Review looks really good as a supplementary text. Yixin, really? Memorize reaction problems? hmmm, is the chem exam a lot of memorization (like bio) or more understanding (like calc?) Actually I don't remember if calc required understanding...

the chem exam deals more with understanding. you have to know how to work problems, and you have to know the theory very well. that said, PR is a very good aid; if you want something to help you memorize some random chemistry facts like flame test colors get barron's guide to the sat II chemistry. avoid barron's ap guide at all costs. it's huge and won't help. PR is the best guide for AP chem, imo.
