thats good to know. A months worth in one day, now that is my type of course. If only my APUSH class was that simple...it's nice to dream. My teacher is horrible.

Yes, my APWH class is hard! The teacher doesn't know how to do a DBQ, and she can not teach!

Ugh. I'm in AP chem now. My school required a 6 week crash course over the summer (intro to chem, marvelous way to spend a summer). We have to take Bio before AP Bio, but you can go straight into AP physics once you have the math requirements. My counselor doesn't recommend Physics, then AP physics; just do physics once. Chem is different. the whole concept of doing stuff you can't see or touch is difficult for some students. Ever see an electron or molecule? i think that is what makes chem harder then bio or physics. if you've never done chem before, lots of luck. AP chem started with 24 students; we're down to 14 now (most dropped after 1st week). only 2 A's this semester after finals last week.

If I were you, I would self-study the AP Stats and double up on Chem from the school. I'm thinking that your GPA would probably suffer from just hoppin right into AP. At our school, no one does Physics, then AP Physics, but everyone does honors chem, then ap chem (if they're taking ap that is).

I have almost the same dilemma except for the fact that I've taken honors chem. in sophomore year. Would I survive AP Chem. during the senior year?

i dont understand what you mean?? do you mean you don't remember or something?? I think if youve had honors chem, once you're reimmersed you should be able to get going again.

Ya, I'm afraid I forgot most of the stuff. Is remembering things from previous chem. class essential in AP Chem?

I think you'll remember it once you get started. It's probably floating around up there still.

Alright, thanks logisticswizard!
