Ap.chem

It was so much easier than I'd expected.
MC was a bit harder than the 02 and 99 released ones. I didn't leave anything blank, so either I did really well or really bad lol. But.
FR was so easy. I did #2 and #8.

8 was really easy, I was so surprised when almost everybody else I knew chose to do #7.

Reactions...there were some that seemed like "gifts".

what are purple study prep books??

id say hard

I thought it was easy, but so did everyone else...I'm worried about the curve...I'll be really sad if I don't get a 5...probably a 4 :(.

My class didn't go over the laboratory stuff, and I didn't do so either. This test had more laboratory stuff, especially in MC, than they put on Princeton Review or any other guide books.

MC was hard. FR Part A was pretty hard, and FR part B was pretty easy.

are we allowed to discuss the free response? they wont use them again...

we need to wait 2 days before we can.

That AP exam was the biggest joke. Ever.

I could have done neither of the "choose one" essays and still gotten a 5.

The FR was actually the easiest chemistry evaluation I have had all year. I've done practice which were harder, and all of my teacher's tests were harder.

The multichoice was the only part that required any thought at any point. I may have gotten 5 wrong. 10 tops.

This exam was stupid. I actually laughed out loud during the test when I saw the last essay question. (Element Q)

I'm sorry if I sound a little pompous, but I put in 90 minutes of class every day this school year, going through an intense courseload in anticipation of a challenging and difficult AP exam, and what I got instead was the easiest AP exam in years. Literally. I've done most of the past decade's worth of AP essays and all of the MC since they switched to no-calculator, and this was much, much easier. Case in point: there were no Kinetics/Electrochemistry/Battery/Acid/Base free response questions. How is that possible on an AP Chemistry exam? I'd say that those topics accounted for a good half of my coursework this year.

Yeah. That was crazy how they didn't touch on a bunch of stuff.
I really expected somethings with volts and galvanic cells.

But am I complaining?
Not in the least. =)

overpreparing is not a bad thing.. don't think you wsasted your time.

Oh, and #2 and #7 though I totally screwed up the precipitate one.

yeah I was VERY happy to see no electrochem.

eh, I got at least 75%...at least a 4...I hope.

electro would have been fun tho...

Guys what is wrong with me. I found most of the FRQ easy except for number 8... I don't understand those stupid like e- configurations.

it was just 8s1, but i wrote [118] 8s1, i think they would except both

i prolly got 40% - 50%... maybe a 3 or 4, hopefully.

that test was really hard. #8 was insane, but i did it... all of the kids in my class got the answer, but I missed it. I didn't understand the question really because I was soooo tested out.

bonding was tetrahedyl (trigonal pyramidal) and octahedyl (square pyramidal) correct?

yeah...(although I missed the trigonal pyramidal one :))

that was number 7 right, why would u do that one, it was so long, 8 was a joke and it literally took me 3 and a half minutes

no #7 was very easy as long as you memorized all those stuff!!! and basically, almost all its sub-question required one word only, so it wasn't long at all!

yea thats true, but i remember thinking the night before that i couldnt remember the shape stuff too well so it was good that it was optional
