AP Chemistry Exam Discussion (Yay, Boo, Gah, answers and the etc..)

So...
that sucked.

Is it just me, or was the multiple choice WAY harder than it’s ever been. = /
Also, FR= WTH

What?! I thought the exam was pretty easy

Sent from my SCH-I500 using CC

Not. Just. You. That was epically awful.

I found the multiple choice to be easier than past exams that are released. Mainly because the questions in the beginning were easier and there weren’t that many lab questions. In the practice exams most of what I would get wrong would be in the beginning and the end, where the lab questions usually were.

The free response Part A I don’t feel too good about. Part B was not too bad. Descriptive Chemistry I know I got the first question wrong, but at least I get a point for balancing lol. 5 and 6 were doable, probably made a few dumb mistakes.

is it just me, or did that exam totally suck…
I literally felt so lost the entire time…

the MC was terrible and the FRQ was good (besides #2) but i made some silly mistakes. i hope i got a 4

I thought it was pretty hard. the multiple choice wasn’t too bad except for a few random questions, but the free response completely threw me off. i’m really hoping i got a 5!

i find it strange that half the people on here are saying MC was very easy and FRQ was hard, and the other half are saying the opposite. I thought FRQ was waay easier then MC

I agree, I though FRQ was easier (besides 2…) and mc was awful…

I didn’t think the multiple choice was that bad, but the last few free response…ick. I’m hoping for a 4…

I thought MC was harder than usual, but it wasn’t impossible :o.

FRQ was OK… except number 2. My face when I read the second part of the question was =O

What was number two?

I thought both were really hard lol. But maybe that’s just because I didn’t study.

I think I most likely got a 3.

Did anyone else get .2 ATM for oxygen’s post partial pressure in part c of frq2? Other than that question I thought the test was quite manageable.

I thought the MC was harder than usual.
And the free response…not good! #1’s topic has been something that I have always been bad at, and I know for a fact I got part F wrong.
And the first equation for #4…I had no idea. I kept trying to balance what I had and it wouldn’t work so I just put some extra stuff in there.
I thought #6 wasn’t that bad though.

@SeniorOhBoy, I believe that you were supposed to answer with the amount of oxygen consumed during the reaction (which I believe was 1.00 atm). I had put .2 atm as well, but I read the question again and realized I hadn’t answered what was asked.

Ahh that’s what I thought. I debated a while about the wording of the question.

I got that .2atm was left over.

Since AP Chemistry scores are based on relativity (under my understanding), if everyone felt bad about it, then the ones who feel less bad should receive a 5, right?
