eh, I still think the curve, if it is high, won't be much higher than 107...it's just that most of the people on CC are smart, and our peers at school have different interpretations of "easy" or "not too bad." A kid I know said he completely omitted 2 FRQs (required ones!) and still called it "pretty easy." Idk, I just don't see the curve shooting up THAT much.

The curve wont be bad if I have anything to do with it!

"most of the people on CC are smart"

It requires some level of geekdom to chat about chemistry online.

coughcough

so true, hahaha =) even moreso when you're not supposed to be

The exam was a joke.

I did essay 8 (Element Q).

I had extra time so at the end I wrote a paragraph about how explosive the reaction between Q and H2O would be, citing the fact that Cesium explodes when it contacts water. It wasn't the answer to any specific question, but I felt I'd give the reader a chuckle. I was debating drawing an illustration of the Element Q oxidation reaction with water (which would have consisted of a beaker with lots of fire and "explosion lines" emanating from it), but time ran out before I could figure out how best to approach the diagram.

... lol, nice zspot. maybe you'll get a 6 for all your efforts =)

I had about ten extra minutes at the end of Part B (I rushed through some bits because I thought I wouldn't have time) so I just napped, due to my fabulous cramming skills last night. I looked around and saw about five people hunched over "pretending" to work but were really snoring, lmao...

much easier than i thought it would be.

FRQ was a joke. I seriously finished the second FR section with 15+ minutes left. #8 was the easiest question I've ever seen.

if anyone wants to chat about the test or apush or ap lang or just vent.. get my number off my away message. my screeen name is xonicole143ox. yes i am so bored lol. sorry guys if this is creepy but whatever.. aps are overrr

Were you guys aware of any cheating that took place during the test? In my testing site it was pretty easy to cheat. Your practically sitting on top of each other and everyone has the same test. Im pretty sure a couple of people cheated on the test in my school

at my school we don't have the same test so it's kind of hard to cheat. Gosh, does it **** you off that people will try to cheat at any given possible time.

I don't think it was that easy. I did not get that stupid lab question at all. Took me about 15 minutes and my answer was just bs.

sweetdream how does everyone at ur school NOT have the same test?
every AP exam (except late and form B) is the same exact test

jw

What did everyone put for how to determine the precipitates in the lab FRQ?

I put flame test. I hope that works.

Also, for number 2, was the reaction not spontaneous?

jason4444, my testing site also had people sitting "on top" of each other...we were in an auditorium. I didn't see any cheating, but I wasn't paying attention to anyone else. I did hear of cheating on the Calc AB test last week.

felixlee- I thought it was spontaneous.

Multiple choice: easy, easy, easy (except for the ones i skipped)
Free Response: somewhere in between easy and hard
overall: 3 or 4

*although i must admit that i would not mind if they just gave me a 5 b/c they lost my test and don't want the hassle of making me take it again-lol

I got a negative delta G so I put spontaneous.

i put that the rxn was spontaneous too--due to a negative delta G value

yeah i got spontaneous too-negative delta G value.

how about the one where they asked if you agree with the statement?

If I answered 70/75 MC part, and 8~10 uncertain ones, and am pretty sure I did all the FR and should be able to get them right (90%~ to be safe) could I get a 5?
