AP Chem?

I signed up for AP Chem next year and I'm start to get the chills. I took Chem this year and got an A every quarter and I actually enjoy the class alot.

How much harder is AP? Is the class twice as hard or just more work?

It's just more work, and a few new concepts. And other concepts just more in depth. You'll be fine.

Depends on your teacher. My first MP i had an 86 cause I wasn't at all used to my teacher's way of handling the class. I've had an A every since then, though. I've found it pretty easy.

dont sweat it!! ap chem goes over the same concepts, but more in depth. It's kind of like regular chem is like: this is what happens, accept it. vs AP Chem, which is like: this is what happens, and here is why. It might sound more difficult, but its interesting and pretty logical.

i would totally recommend that class, especially if you liked regular chem (i loved both)

I liked me AP Chem class more than regular Chem. My class was a lot more relaxed and pretty much everyone in there liked it. I actually didn't think it was that hard, you're mostly just using the stuff you learned in regular chem and going more in-depth on that basic stuff. There was actually a lot less homework in my AP class.

I'm going to AP Chem from Chemistry too. We actually have blocks schedule, and AP Chem takes TWO blocks, counting for TWO years of science. Hmm, very interesting and intriguing I'd say :) I don't actually think it will be that difficult, perhaps they will follow guidelines on AP Chem so check out that outline for AP Chem class on collegeboard.com

wow, mr_chipset, you better either have no homework in that class, or every single student better get a 5 on the test

(TWO times the amount of class time!!! i wish i had that luxury)
