Both the posts above me are made of win.

I really liked Bio, and I like AP Chem a lot right now too. I personally like how chem is more real life application/calculation while bio is mostly memorization. I have nothing against bio though.

I wish I could've taken physics this year, but it's a senior only class at my school :(

Physics > Chemistry >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Biology.

LOL, wow, there seems to be quite a bit of odium felt toward biology in this thread. I generally agree with Moodrets, though (biology > physics > chemistry). But I think my hierarchy is influenced more by the teachers than the subject matter itself. If I considered only subject matter, I might switch biology and physics.

Bio is applied chem is applied physics is applied math

In terms of difficulty you can see which outranks the others

I'm in Bio and Chem this year, and they're both fun for different reasons, but the best part is how much they overlap. :D It really helps.

Physics SUCKS in my school. So far, basically all they've done is learn how to add vectors, lol... and at my school, the GT (Honors) class is a prereq for the AP, so they already know how to add vectors...

Physics > Chemistry > Psychology > Computer Science >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Biology

And after that is earth science, I suppose.

i don't get how some of you can possibly like chem and phys more than bio...nerds.

Completely disagree. I'm taking both and Bio is FAR better. I love bio and just kind of like chem...

uh lol I'm in chem now as a soph and i had bio last year.

Um, Chem is much much much more easy than bio. Same for physics.

No comparison indeed. Last year bio I had C's throughout until the finals (although partly because of hw average, but still).

This year I think I'll bust out 98%+ without effort in chem (no arrogance here, everyone knows I'm not smart but because it isn't AP chem but just regular chem with a non-difficult teacher).

^yes, basic chem is very easy. i am comparing the classes at higher levels, chem becomes a headache, bio is just reading and understanding.

there is a huge difference between regular/honors and AP chem. as with all the sciences..

just to settle the debate in terms of sciences, chemistry is the central science. Literally, when you look at Bio - Chem - Physics in that order.

I'm a soph who has taken Biology, Chemistry, and Physics and is currently taking AP Bio and AP Physics, and frankly I would choose AP Physics and AP Chem over AP Bio anyday, but the AP Bio teacher at my school is amazing, which compels me to place AP Bio over AP Chem (whereas, the teacher who teaches AP Physics and Chem is fine too, but there hasn't been an A in either of those classes since 2003 D:)

ap chem wasn't more interesting but it was far easier,

ap physics is the worst
