I felt like I answered all parts well except the last parts on Part A FRQ. Part B FRQ wasn’t too bad.

I missed around 7-10 MC though :/. Disappointed…

Section II Part A Holy ***! Excuse my language but I messed up so badly on parts of it.

^You think YOU messed it up…?

Don’t look at my test.

12345, getting 7-10 MC wrong is well into the 5 range. I calculated how many MC I would need right to get a 5 given how well I think I did on FRQs (averaging like a 7) and I can get like 40 something/75 right.

hopefully 4 is no problem… Pray for 5!!

Did they ask about how much was consumed or how much was left after the reaction. 1.00 atm was consumed while .2 was left after. lol. Don’t worry bro, the curve will adjust in your favor. Everyone thinks this exam was hard.lol

I can’t believe that I drew the Lewis structure wrong. I CANT COUNT THE NUMBER OF ELECTRONS. W T H? OMG ALL CAPS RAGE!!! RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I didn’t write most of my answers on the lined paper. I wrote it under the question like on the released frqs. I circled the answers and it was organized. Will I get penalized for putting the answers in the wrong spot

Was the previous AP Chemistry thread deleted? Lol. Not surprised.

I think CC deleted it, yeah.

I took the AP chem exam last year, and realized that I made a ton of careless errors after I finished. I was rushing to finish in time, and I know that I got several easy questions wrong. Despite this, I got a 5. Two of my friends who didn’t even finish the free response also got a 5. There was even a girl who skipped an entire question, and still got a 4.

I hope that this has eased some of your fears!

Haha thanks jenius :)

Bro, trying estimating your score with the help of this site, appass.com.

Same XD

@jenius93: That makes me feel a LOT better.

When are the FRQs released, and where do we find them? I feel like they said they would release the actual questions (not the experimental questions) in two days or so. I think my teacher said this was the first year they included experimental questions…but I could be wrong. My brain was messed up after that test :/

on friday, im pretty sure

Free response is uploaded to the collegeboard website but it’s not linked yet - <a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board;

MC was terrible and FR was only slightly better. I called the entire thing a disaster and the majority of my friends felt the same way.

Is it just me who thought MC was a lot harder than the FRQs??

Now that FRQ has been released (I have a copy of it that I just printed off) I have a few things to say.

FRQ this year wasn’t that hard. Most everyone’s freaking out because of #2 (including me), but in retrospect, it’ll only be worth 4 or 5 points if you missed c, d, and e. Not really a big deal.

The FRQ this year forced me to think a lot more about what I was answering, and I really enjoyed some questions. In retrospect, I’m happier that they made it more full of critical thinking/reasoning than hard calculations - like other past years were.

I don’t believe that it was hard at all! Especially now looking at it I’m like “well duh” lol!
