Hey guys this year I will be taking ap chemistry and physics and will try and prepare myself for a 5 but I was looking at how some books appear to be specifically for the sat subject test and I was wondering while I learn and prepare for a 5 will I be learning and getting ready for the subject test because I want around a 750 plus on both.

You should be sufficiently prepared if you study for the AP test well. However, you should know that the subject test can go in depth on subjects you briefly look over in AP, and not mention some topics in AP at all. For instance, in AP, I don’t think we talked about properties of particular elements that much but it does appear on the subject test. I’m not sure if you want to get two separate books, but definitely look over the subject test book if you are planning to take it (either by borrowing it from a friend or the library) It has many more questions in a short time period than the AP and is in a different style. Take the practice tests if you can. Good luck.

Do any of your prospective schools require an SAT II test? That is probably a better idea if they do, if you have not taken one yet.
