Self study: Micro since it is not offered in my school as well as Comp gov.
Hi, I had a question regarding ap science classes. I have no intention of going into engineering/med so is it ok if I take ap chem over ap environmental? I am not really interested in ap physics/chem/ bio so would this be the right track if I want to apply to top tier schools (Georgetown etc.) ? I plan on going into finance or economics so I took courses senior year such as business law which gets local college credit.
Do the rest of your high school courses cover the usual base including foreign language up to level 4 and all three of biology, chemistry, and physics?
I have honors bio, honors chem, reg physics( physics 1 alone was offered along with a honors physics in my school leading to me taking reg physics). I also took 3 years of Spanish. All my classes are honors/ap in my transcript.
Since your school doesn’t offer micro, where do you take the test? Becuase I’m thinking of self studying for a test too, but I don’t know where I’m going to take it because I’m most likely going to be the only person in my school taking it
APES is fine for your track, however stopping at Spanish 3 is a bit iffy especially for Georgetown. If you’re fluent in Tamil, do you have a way to get your level certified?
I hated chemistry, as it was my worst science score out of the three in high school. Taking APES this year. AP Bio would be my second choice, but as I hope for career in politics, learning a little about the environment might be helpful for me.
