I am currently a sophomore in high school and we are starting to sign up for our next year classes. Here are the classes I plan to take:
English Lang AP
World History AP
Biology AP
Physics AP
Calculus AP
Latin III Honors
Band Honors

I was thinking about taking World History Honors instead of AP. How hard is WHAP? What about English AP?

I am more of a math and science oriented person btw.

In my experience, whap isn’t hard but it’s a lot of information so it would be difficult if you’re bad with time management. If I were you, I would ask around at your school and see how the teacher is with workloads and such. If it sounds doable, then go for it. Just don’t risk your gpa for the sake of one extra ap class.

I’m a sophomore and I personally find AP World History easy despite being more interested in math/science. I’m sure that my teacher is holding back though. Expect an extreme amount of homework though. I haven’t taken AP English Language but I have heard it is easy and should be taken regardless of your interests because it helps develop your writing skills. I have one question though. What level of AP Calculus and AP Physics are you taking? AP Physics 1 or AP Physics 2 might doable. Either of the AP Physics C courses without prior Calculus knowledge could be difficult but you will probably learn the topics first in AP Calculus. I haven’t taken AP Biology either but it is known for it’s amount of homework so it could be too much when combined with AP World. If I were you, I would take your exact courses as is. Be ambitious. But I’m sure some people will tell you to lighten up your course load if you value sleep and sanity.

With the teacher I have the tests are really hard, as hard as the AP exam, but it’s curved a lot. We also have a lot of homework, I hear people say the class has the most homework out of all the classes at our school and we have a lot of AP and IB classes. But it depends on the teacher. There’s another teacher who teaches AP World at my school and his class is pretty easy. So it depends.
