AP Comp Sci vs AP Micro/Macro?

I’m not sure what I want to go into yet. Therefore I want to get in as many college prep courses as I can to see what I’m good at and what I like. This is for my senior year.

So far I’m taking these classes:
1.) AP Calc AB
2.)
3.)
4.) PE
5.) AP4
6.) Lunch
7.) Orchestra
8.) AP Physics

As you can see, I have two slots left. I was thinking between AP Psych, Virtual Enterprises International, AP Stats, AP Comp Sci, and AP Micro and Macro.

As of now, I’m interested in business and law but I’m very indecisive so I’m not sure. I took Consumer Ec last year and Micro/Macro count as the same credit so I don’t know if it’s worth it. I just want to see if I may like Economics though.

I’m mainly thinking about taking VEI and either AP Comp Sci or AP Micro Macro because Comp Sci is very interesting and has a large job market but Micro and Macro may be more relevant to business and may help me with VEI?

What do you guys think?

Thanks!

Comp sci. Economics is easier to learn on your own than computer science, especially when you’re new to the subject.

And I never knew people had to sign up for lunch.

@piggybank33‌ lol right signing up for lunch…
we have to sign up for PE but by skill level 1 2 or 3.

I would look at the websites of the colleges you are interested in, and look at their AP credit policy. Then see if this credit would apply to your major or general education requirements. Some selective schools won’t offer credit, some will offer credit but not apply it to their general education requirements, and some will give full credit. I would say for the general student, economics is the better choice.
